Love Your Feet

How much do you love your feet?

I hear so many people say they hate feet, even their own feet! But your feet are so vital to you day to day life, mobility and overall happiness and wellbeing.

So how much do you do to care for your feet?

Do you make sure your shoes fit properly and you aren’t squeezing them into inappropriate footwear.

Do you moisturise the skin on your feet.

Do you check them for any lumps and bumps, sore areas, nail discolouration?

Most people know they should be doing all of those things and some will do better than others.

All these things are great if you do but most importantly do you do any foot exercises to keep them mobile and able to function properly?

If you suffer from bunions, hammer toes, heel pain, forefoot pain, ankle pain then mobilising and strengthening the feet could be a very useful tool for you.

There are some very simple exercises everyone can start to do to try and improve their foot function and hopefully reduce any foot pain (along with wearing the right sock and shoes and sorting out any other skin or nail issues).

If you would like further advice on this then please make an appointment to see me in clinic.

A little bit of love goes a long way.
